Joe Rudolf has extensive experience in the lumber industry, currently serving as Contractor Sales and Yard Operations Manager at Home Lumber Company since April 2015. Prior to this role, Joe held various positions at Alexander / B&H Lumber from March 1993 to April 2015, including Branch Manager, where responsibilities encompassed daily operations, outside functions management, dispatching, and millwork warehouse management. Educational achievements include attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 1991 to 1994 and completing studies at Elkhorn Area High School from 1988 to 1991.

Home Lumber Company is the 2010 Wisconsin Family Business of the Year! The Hale family and their business is steeped in tradition for choosing to make a difference in their community and also with their customers. Their family run lumberyard will celebrate 126 years in business in 2011. They hold a long history and have a lot at stake in Whitewater's downtown. The company is run today by Geoff Hale with the help of his father Don, wife Jacki, and brother Jack. Geoff's three boys Chris, Mike, and Mac are all active on a day to day basis with the company. Over a three day process, everyone in the company took part in the creation of our mission statement which above our front entry and reads: "Home Lumber strives to deliver quality products and courteous services which exceed your expectations. We endeavor to provide a progressive, profitable, and enjoyable environment for everyone. Ask those we serve."
