Christa Huebner has extensive experience in the financial industry, specifically in commercial real estate lending and risk management. Christa is currently working as the Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending (Originations) at Home Trust Company since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at BMO Financial Group for almost 20 years, holding various senior management positions. At BMO, they were responsible for providing leadership and expertise in commercial property financing and risk rating matters. Christa also played a key role in improving the quality of credit submissions and developing processes and policies for commercial real estate risk management. Before joining BMO, Christa worked at RBC for 13 years, where they focused on business development and portfolio management in real estate markets. Overall, Christa has demonstrated expertise in commercial real estate lending, risk management, business development, and portfolio management throughout their career.
Christa Huebner has an MBA in Finance with a minor in International Business from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Christa also holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in Finance and minoring in Marketing from the same institution. Additionally, they possess a Real Estate License from the Toronto Real Estate Board and obtained it through George Brown College.
