Grant Waddingham

Grant Waddingham has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Grant is currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Home Trust Company since June 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked at Manulife Bank as the Assistant Vice President of Credit Risk from April 2013 to October 2021, where they managed the department and led a team of risk adjudicators. Before that, Grant worked at Ally Financial Inc. as a Commercial Risk Lead in 2012, overseeing credit risk for global exposures and managing the Canadian and Chicago regional portfolios. Grant also held the position of National Loans Manager at Ally Financial Inc. from July 2005 to December 2009, and prior to that, they were the Commercial Lending Manager, leading a team responsible for a $4.0 billion commercial loan portfolio. From December 2009 to December 2011, Grant worked at ResMor Trust Company as the Head of Commercial Risk, where they implemented an automotive bank model and led a risk team responsible for commercial loan adjudication.

Grant Waddingham completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Specialized Honours from the University of Guelph in 1987. Grant then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University, completing it in 1999. Additionally, they attended the Northwestern University - Kellogg Graduate School of Management for a seminar on Credit Analysis Equity Valuation and Financial Reporting, which ended in 2000.
