Jannis Berning is an experienced HR professional specializing in People Operations and Learning & Development. Currently serving as the Head of People Operations for home24 Group (interim), Jannis leads the People Operations team across home24 and BUTLERS, focusing on strategic HR partnerships, payroll oversight, and resource allocation. As Head of Organizational Development & Consulting, responsibilities include designing and executing workforce strategies and enhancing organizational effectiveness through talent development and engagement programs. Previous roles include Team Lead Learning & Development and Senior People Development Manager at home24, along with consultancy work at train GmbH, where Jannis implemented impactful L&D initiatives. Jannis holds a Master’s degree in Business Psychology from Hochschule für angewandtes Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management & Psychology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
