Bill Balfour

Bll Balfour is the senior vice president and senior Credit Products manager for Commercial Real Estate Banking at Bank of America. In this position, he leads a team of real estate professionals in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego who originate, underwrite, close, and monitor commercial real estate financing to Southern California's top real estate investors, developers, and funds. During his 38 year career with Bank of America, Bill has held various leadership roles in real estate and commercial banking with responsibilities in Southern and Northern California, Texas, and Hawaii. While in real estate, he has worked with all asset classes and enterprises, including corporate, institutional, and publicly traded companies, as well as large private companies, home builders, REITs, and funds. Bill currently serves on Bank of America's Market President Leadership Team in Orange County. Since 2005, he has served and co-chaired the Community Development Committee which is responsible for Bank of America Foundation's annual charitable contributions in Orange County. Bill also serves on the Orange County Coalition on Behavioral Health, a think tank formed to create a world-class system serving mental illness and substance abuse. Mindoc was born from this think tank, with the recent milestone of the grand opening of a new 60,000SF world-class facility in Orange as the community's first of three planned BeWell Health Centers. Previous volunteer leadership roles include President and Director of HomeAid Orange County where he served for 12 years, Leadership Council for United to End Homelessness, Commissioner on County of Orange Commission to End Homelessness, and Director of Orange County United Way. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
