Andrew Schafer has a varied and extensive work experience. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Trainer at NCG Cinemas, where they were one of only two employees to be promoted to the position prior to turning 18. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Co-op at the Bay County Road Commission, where they were responsible for expensive government equipment. Andrew also worked as a Banquet Server at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, where they had social interactions and provided customer service to high profile alumni and corporate executives. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Humana, where they worked as a full stack engineer. In 2017, they worked as an Application Analyst Intern at General Mills and as an Undergraduate Software Engineer at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB). Finally, in 2018, they worked as an Advanced Application Developer and Advanced Application Analyst at General Mills. In 2022, they are currently working as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Homebot.

Andrew Schafer attended Michigan State University from 2014 to 2018, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma from Midland High School in 2014.
