Dave Young

Dave Young is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in guiding innovative strategies and product development in the tech and design industries. Currently serving as Head of Design at Mudflap since May 2025, Young also advises Cali's Books on launching new products and business strategies. As a self-employed consultant since November 2021, Young coaches startup founders and executives in articulating their vision and enhancing collaboration among teams. Prior experience includes leading design at Homebound, a startup focused on innovative homebuilding solutions, and serving as Sr Director of Design at HOVER Inc., where the focus was on integrating technology with real estate. Young holds a Master of Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
