Cecilia Cabello

Cecilia Cabello is the current Director at Homeboy Industries. Cecilia has extensive experience working on high-level political campaigns, most recently as the California State Director for Pete for America from September 2019 to March 2020. In this role, Cecilia oversaw all aspects of the campaign, including strategy, budget, field and political operations, management of staff and messaging in coordination with national priorities.

Prior to their work on the Pete for America campaign, Cecilia served as the California State Director for Hillary for America from May 2016 to November 2016. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the presidential campaign in California, including day-to-day operations, managing staff, coordination and implementation of campaign priorities and messaging, and facilitated state campaign activities and programs according to strict schedules and budget. Cecilia also coordinated with headquarters on operations, personnel, and campaign priorities.

In addition to their work on political campaigns, Cecilia has also served as Senior Advisor for Rick Chavez Zbur for AD 50 from January 2021 to November 2021 and Yes on Prop 16 from July 2020 to November 2020. Cecilia also served as Vice President for the Los Angeles Board of Public Works from November 2018 to September 2019.
