Bolade Akerele has a strong background in software development and leadership roles. Starting in 2013, Bolade worked as a Creative Director and Engineering Manager at Mindshare Communications Limited, where they managed cross-functional teams, designed and developed corporate website templates, and recommended IT equipment and software for improved operations. In 2017, Bolade joined Standard Alliance Insurance Plc as a Software Developer, building an Enterprise Resource Planning solution, advising on cost-effective procurement, and identifying areas for software solution development. Bolade then moved to LawPavilion in 2018, working as a Software Engineer and developing enterprise applications, coordinating user trainings, and overseeing projects. In 2019, Bolade became a Technical Lead at SeamlessHR, and their responsibilities included leading technical projects and teams until January 2023. Currently, Bolade is working at Homecare Hub as a Full Stack Developer, where they design, implement, and maintain software enhancements, mentor and manage other developers, and participate in the overall development process.
Bolade Akerele completed a Master's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Lagos from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Bolade Akerele obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a specialization in Computer Science (ICT option) from Ajayi Crowther University from 2007 to 2011.
