Julie Cook

Julie Cook has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julie is currently working as a Full Stack Developer at Homecare Hub since November 2022. Prior to this, Julie served as a Software Engineer at Fractel, LLC starting in August 2020.

Julie's educational background includes being a Full-Time Student studying Computer Information Systems at the Florida Institute of Technology from August 2015 to May 2021. During their time at the institute, they also worked as a Manager of Online Undergraduate Admissions from May 2017 to September 2019, where they managed a team of admissions evaluators and oversaw the evaluation of application data and transfer credits. Julie also worked as a Credential Evaluator from June 2015 to May 2017, evaluating credentials for admissions purposes.

In addition to their education, Julie completed the Springboard Data Analytics Career Track program from November 2019 to August 2020. During the program, they gained expertise in analyzing business problems, data analysis, and data visualization using SQL, Python, and other tools.

Before pursuing their career in technology, Julie worked as a Teacher, providing private 1-1 lessons to Chinese students and assisting aspiring college students as a self-employed individual from October 2013 to June 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Foreign Language Teacher at New Oriental Education & Technology Group from April 2012 to April 2014.

Julie also has experience in the public health and social service sectors. Julie worked as an Epidemiology/Tuberculosis Human Services Specialist at the Leon County Health Department from April 2008 to June 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Dependency Case Manager at Children's Home Society of Florida from June 2007 to January 2008, where they coordinated services, conducted assessments, and worked towards unifying families and ensuring the well-being of at-risk children.

Julie Cook completed their high school education from West Shore Jr./Sr. High School in the Honors/Regents High School/Secondary Diploma Program between 1999 and 2002. Julie then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Florida State University from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Florida State University from 2005 to 2007. Most recently, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2021.
