Michael Mercer

Michael Mercer is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in frontend and full-stack development. Currently serving as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at HomeCloud since November 2023, Michael previously held the role of Founding Engineer at Kairos, where projects were led from concept to launch. As the Director of Web Technology at The Starr Conspiracy from 2010 to 2022, Michael directed the development of B2B SaaS applications and digital experiences while improving processes and guiding technology strategies. Notable entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding VÖL and Shomego, where Michael oversaw product strategy and development. Michael's early career included a technical support role at the University of North Texas, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
