Jorge Fino

Jorge Fino has a diverse work experience in various design roles and managerial positions. Jorge started their career in 1999 as a Webmaster at Aetna before moving on to Apple Computer as a Mac Specialist in 2001. In 2002, they joined Inergy Group as an Interaction Experience Designer. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Juxt Interactive as an Associate Creative Director.

In 2008, Jorge joined Apple Inc. as a Human Interface Design member, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they held the position of Design Director at Oculus VR from 2014 to 2015. Following that, they became the Director of Design at Pearl Automation from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Jorge joined Google as a Design Manager, a role they held until early 2019. Jorge then joined NEX Inc. as the VP of Design in April 2019, where they are currently employed.

Throughout their career, Jorge has also served as a UX Consultant at Nest in 2010 and as a Design Manager at Apple Inc. from 2014 to 2015.

Jorge Fino attended the University of Hartford from 1996 to 1998 but did not obtain a degree. Following this, they went on to study at Central Connecticut State University from 1999 to 2002 where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Graphic/Information Design.
