Christy Kaupinen

Christy Kaupinen has extensive experience in the fields of marketing, corporate strategy, and communications. Christy is currently the Vice President of Marketing at DNA Diagnostics Center since 2022. Before that, they founded and grew CK Insights, LLC, a marketing, corporate strategy, and communications advisory firm. This firm served over 30 public and venture/PE-backed private clients in the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. In their role as President and Founder, they developed digital commerce strategies, investor messaging, and collaborated with major hospital systems.

Christy also worked at Aspire Bariatrics, where they served as the Vice President of Marketing and was a part of the Executive Leadership Team. Christy played a crucial role in the marketing and commercialization efforts of AspireAssist®, an implantable device for the treatment of morbid obesity. Christy also oversaw global marketing research in multiple countries and served as a primary liaison for international distributors.

Earlier in their career, Christy worked at Synthes USA, where they held various roles in sales and business development. Christy was also an MBA Summer Product Marketing Associate at Medtronic and a Business Development Manager at Othera Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, they gained experience at Putnam Associates as a Senior Associate Consultant and Associate Consultant, and as a Summer Analyst in Healthcare Investment Banking at Robertson Stephens.

Christy Kaupinen completed their primary education at Episcopal Academy from 1994 to 1999. Christy then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Princeton University, graduating in 2003. Continuing their academic journey, Christy attended The Wharton School from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Health Care Management.
