Juan Láriz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Juan started their career with a part-time internship as an engineer at the European Space Agency in 2001, and later had a full-time internship as an R+D engineer at Siemens in 2003. In 2004, they worked as a Consultant at BearingPoint Business Consulting until 2006. Juan then joined The Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they became the Country Manager for Spain at Facile.it until 2014, when they moved to Acierto.com and continued their role as Country Manager until 2017. In that same year, they founded HomeDoctor and is currently serving as the Founder and CEO. Additionally, from 2007 to 2018, they were an Investor and Board Member at Radial S.L.

Juan Láriz attended Gaztelueta from 1987 to 1999, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. Juan then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 1999 to 2004. Juan later enrolled in the IESE Business School from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained an MBA in Business Administration. Additionally, in 2007, they briefly attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for an MBA program in Business Administration.
