Vanessa Gomes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Vanessa started their career as an Animatrice Loisirs Sportif at Paintball 75 / Wax in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Following this, Vanessa worked as a Stagiaire en Hotellerie at Maldron Hotels in 2010. Vanessa then joined Smilo Destination Management as an Opératrice production touristique from 2011 to 2013, where they handled hotel, transfer, and excursion reservations and provided tourist assistance in different languages. From 2013 to 2014, Vanessa embarked on a personal journey of discovery in Australia through Voyage en Australie, where they took on various roles such as hostess, receptionist, farm employee, and waitress. In 2014, they worked as an Employée polyvalente at Côté Nature, where their responsibilities involved sales, order reception, stock management, and product promotion. Vanessa then transitioned to VILLANOVO in 2015, assuming the role of Responsable support production until 2017, where they oversaw production support operations. Finally, they joined HomeExchange.com in 2017 as a Customer service agent and subsequently became a Customer Service Coordinator for France in 2018.

Vanessa Gomes pursued their education chronologically starting in 2006 at Lycée Léonard de Vinci, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Literature in 2007. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Faculté des métiers - Evry, where they earned a BTS degree in Tourism. In 2010-2011, Vanessa enrolled at Faculté des métiers d'Evry to pursue a Europass Mobility program focused on linguistic training with a specialization in English.
