Aparna Motiwala

Aparna Motiwala currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at HomeFirst Services of Santa Clara County since July 2022 and is a Volunteer Health Ambassador and Site Lead at Second Harvest since August 2021, focusing on community education regarding food and nutrition. In clinical operations, Aparna has progressed from a Clinical Trial Management Associate to a Manager at PaxVax, Inc., and previously held senior management roles at Emergent BioSolutions and Gilead Sciences. Early career experience includes clinical research positions at VA Palo Alto and Kaiser Permanente, as well as research roles at Celgene and Signal Pharmaceuticals. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University and a certificate in Clinical Conduct & Management from UC Berkeley Extension.
