Simone Griffin has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various organizations. Simone started their career in 2001 as the Director of the SHOP Program at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, where they developed and managed a program aimed at educating college graduates on wealth building and homeownership. Simone also handled sponsorship proposals and managed corporate sponsors.

In 2006, Simone joined Aston English School as a Manager, where they successfully managed two schools with a staff of sixteen Chinese and eight native-English speaking teachers. Simone was responsible for marketing, enrollment increase, maintaining high customer service standards, student language assessment, teacher evaluations, and overall operations.

Since 2007, Simone has been associated with HomeFree-USA. Initially, they served as the Executive Director, where they oversaw the team's operations, foreclosure counseling, homebuyer education, and acquisition of bank-owned homes in Metro Atlanta. Simone also built relationships with major REO managers and implemented a grassroots campaign to increase visibility in the Atlanta market.

Later on, Simone became the Vice President of Affiliate Relations at HomeFree-USA. In this role, they ensured compliance, managed federal funding, and represented the organization at the Congressional level. Simone also implemented nationwide grants among agencies and served as an intermediary between affiliates and the U.S.

Throughout their career, Simone has demonstrated leadership skills, management expertise, and a commitment to promoting homeownership and financial education.

Simone Griffin completed their high school education at Maret School from 1989 to 1996, earning a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Later, they attended Hampton University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Political Science and Government.
