Yasir Glenn-Brown is currently a volunteer ambassador at Norfolk State University, where Yasir demonstrates professionalism and enthusiasm while representing the institution and fostering a positive campus environment. In addition, Yasir has participated in an undergraduate research and mentorship program, gaining essential skills in emotional intelligence, mentorship, graduate school preparation, and effective writing. As a residential leader, Yasir managed a dormitory-style living space for 600 students, providing 24/7 assistance in conflict resolution. Furthermore, Yasir engages in a yearlong financial literacy program as a student scholar with HomeFree-USA, gaining valuable insights into mortgage, real estate, and finance. Yasir is pursuing an academic degree at Norfolk State University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
