Telly Papasimakis has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they serve as the President & CEO at Homeland Energy Solutions LLC since September 2021.
Prior to this, Telly worked at ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) for over two decades. Telly'sroles at ADM include serving as the Vice President, Global Sales from February 2021 to September 2021. Telly also held various positions such as Director, Starch, Wheat Protein and Specialty Flour Sales, North America from July 2019 to April 2021, Director of Starch Sales, North America from August 2017 to April 2021, Director, Starch from June 2015 to August 2017, and Business Manager from April 2013 to June 2015. At ADM, they were responsible for leading sales and technical teams, managing P&L, and overseeing production planning and volume allocation. Telly also had personnel responsibility for a team of 15 operations and commercial employees and set plant construction timelines and budgets.
Additionally, Telly worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at ADM from August 2012 to April 2013, where they were accountable for RBD soybean oils and fats business strategy in North America. Telly also served as a Marketing Manager from March 2010 to August 2012, overseeing the management of a vegetable oil refinery and transfer stations in the western U.S. Furthermore, they worked as a Product Manager from December 2006 to March 2010 and as an Assistant Product Manager from December 2005 to December 2006 at ADM.
Apart from their tenure at ADM, Telly Papasimakis was a Board Member at Chemcel Ltd, an Archer Daniels Midland Joint Venture, from October 2013 to December 2016. The joint venture involved partnerships with CIC Holdings and Chemanex Ltd.
Telly Papasimakis completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University between 1994 and 1998. Telly then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. In 2015, Telly Papasimakis attended the CEO-Led Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School.
