Homeless Prenatal Program
Crista M. is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in community health and caregiving. Currently serving as a Case Manager and Community Health Worker at the Homeless Prenatal Program since January 2023, Crista also holds an internship as a Community Health Worker at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center from September 2023. Past experiences include roles as a Childcare Provider at Compass Family Services and Children's Council of San Francisco, as well as a Caregiver at Americare Senior Living and a Bilingual Lead Hotel Counselor at Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco. Crista is pursuing a Certificate in Community Health Worker at City College of San Francisco, set to complete in May 2024, and is a graduate of Clovis West High School, class of 2011.
Homeless Prenatal Program
Mission: In partnership with our families, break the cycle of childhood poverty. The Homeless Prenatal Program is a nationally-recognized family resource center in San Francisco that empowers homeless and low-income families, particularly mothers motivated by pregnancy and parenthood, to find within themselves the strength and confidence they need to transform their lives. We serve over 3,500 low-income and homeless families annually, providing a variety of programs and services to help families become healthy, stable and self-sufficient.
