Emily Legg has a diverse work experience, starting as a Hunger and Homelessness Outreach Coordinator at Messiah College in 2012. Emily then worked as a Study Abroad participant and Health Care in Developing Worlds Coordinator at Messiah College in 2013. In 2014, they became a student at Boston University and continued their studies until 2015, where they also worked as a BUSPH Field Researcher at The School for Field Studies. Emily later worked as a Core Course Tutor at Boston University School of Public Health in the same year. In 2016, they joined Homeless Solutions, Inc. as a Family Housing and Outreach Specialist until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Supportive Housing Case Manager at the same company before being promoted to Supportive Housing Division Manager from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, they joined Roof Above as the Permanent Supportive Housing Director at Moore Place. Later in the same year, they became the Head of Program Impact and Data Quality at Homeless Solutions, Inc.
Emily Legg earned a Master's Degree in International Public Health/International Health from Boston University in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Messiah University in 2010-2014. In addition, Emily has a certification in Protecting Human Research Participants from the National Institutes of Health, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
