Joseph DeWoody has a long and varied work experience. From 2010 to 2018, they were the Founder & Partner of Clear Fork Royalty. In 2018, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Valor. In 2021, Joseph became a Life Member of American Mensa and a Strategic Advisor for Benbrook Cybersecurity and 410 Whiskey. Joseph also became the Chief Executive Officer of HomePlate Peanut Butter. In 2022, Joseph was appointed Director and President of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons and Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor of Amigos Spice Company. Additionally, they have been a Member of YPO since 2013, as well as a Chapter Chair (YPO West Texas Integrated), Regional Membership Officer (Western US), Chapter Chair (YPO Fort Worth), and Chapter Learning Officer (YPO Fort Worth). Most recently, they became a Member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization in 2022.

Joseph DeWoody has an extensive educational background. Joseph obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Baylor University, where they studied Entrepreneurship and Real Estate. Joseph then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. Joseph also attended the Colorado School of Mines for Petroleum Engineering SuperSchool. Joseph furthered their education by completing a Full-Stack Web Development program from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, they have completed a variety of certifications from renowned institutions, such as The Wharton School, HarvardX, and HubSpot. These certifications include Scaling a Business: How to Build a USD 1 Billion+ Unicorn, Certified Brand Strategist, Certified Digital Marketing Professional, and Professional Certified Marketer in Digital Marketing.
