LaNishia Dease, CSM, CSSGB has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. LaNishia started their career as a Human Resources Assistant and Activity Student Worker at Chicago State University in 2012. LaNishia then moved on to work as a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, where they also managed multiple departments including Photo and Accounting. In 2014, LaNishia joined Avant as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Online Support Specialist, and Accounting Clerk. LaNishia excelled in this role and was promoted within the company. Following their time at Avant, LaNishia worked as a Credit Analyst and Data Entry Clerk at Castle Credit, and as a Compliance/Quality Assurance Analyst at Mandarich Law Group. In 2018, they joined World Services, Inc. as an Accounting Clerk before transitioning to the role of Lead Revenue Cycle Specialist (OTC) at Progress Learning in 2020. At Progress Learning, LaNishia was responsible for various tasks such as order processing, invoice generation, payment processing, bank account reconciliation, and troubleshooting platform and CRM issues. In 2022, they briefly worked as an HDE Settlement Coordinator at The Home Depot, where they made outbound calls, settled outstanding balances, and coordinated with field partners. Currently, LaNishia is working as a Property Accountant at HomeRiver Group since 2023. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong skills in customer service, accounting, quality assurance, and problem-solving.
LaNishia Dease, CSM, CSSGB, completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Accounting at Chicago State University from 2008 to 2013. In 2019, they pursued further education at the American Job Center, specializing in Employment & Employer Services. Additionally, in the same year, LaNishia attended Microtrain to enhance their skills in Project Management Professional. LaNishia also obtained certifications as a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the International Six Sigma Institute™ in September 2019 and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in August 2019.
