Richard Scola has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard is currently the Co-Founder of HomeSource, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, Richard worked as a Partner at Street View Properties, LLC from November 2017 to May 2021. Richard also served as the Vice President of Acquisitions & Dispositions at Tricon American Homes from October 2014 to November 2017. Before entering the real estate industry, Richard was the Director of Operations at South Florida Residential Holdings, LP from October 2012 to October 2014. Richard also held the position of President at Real Property Solutions, LLC from October 2007 to October 2012. Richard started their career as a Fireman in the New York City Fire Department, serving from February 1998 to January 2006. Prior to that, they were a Business Owner at IMS Communications, Inc from June 1996 to February 2004. Richard began their professional journey in the US Navy, where they served as a Petty Officer Third Class from August 1990 to August 1994.

Richard Scola obtained an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Suffolk County Community College, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they have also pursued several certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Central Piedmont Community College. In 2012, they gained a certification in Project Management from the same institution. Richard also holds certifications in various other areas, including North Carolina Mortgage Broker from Abacus Mortgage Training and Education in 2008, North Carolina Real Estate Broker from Mingle School of Real Estate in 2007, Sales Training from Dale Carnegie Training in 2000, and Leadership and Management Training from the same institution in 2000.
