Brian Barker

Brian Barker is the current Principal of Homestead Senior Living & Construction at Homestead Companies. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Product at Smart Harbor from November 2016 to March 2018. In this role, Brian facilitated the delivery of various initiatives throughout the Morgan Stanley Operations departments. Brian has experience managing projects related to web services, telephony, training development, and finance and client services. Brian also assists with day to day line of business management as well as coordinating the resolution of client issues and complaints. Brian has acted as a part of call center leadership team during rapid expansion project providing feedback and recommendations for site improvement and workforce management.

Before joining Smart Harbor, Brian was an Account Manager at Fugent, Inc. from September 2015 to November 2016. In this role, they worked with the top financial services wholesaling, advisor, and broker-dealer teams to implement Fugent’s Sales Enablement Platform into their sales cycles. Brian helped clients develop strategies and measurable KPIs geared toward their individual sales goals. Brian also coordinated closely with sales to identify areas of growth and develop retention strategies.

Brian Barker graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
