Sandra Cavanaugh

Sandra Cavanaugh has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Sandra currently serves as the Director at HomeStreet, a position they have held since 2010.

Prior to joining HomeStreet, Ms. Cavanaugh served as the EVP, Retail Channel Manager at SunTrust Bank from January 2009 to January 2010. Sandra also served as the President at WaMu Investments from January 2004 to December 2007. During their time at Washington Mutual, they held various Senior Executive positions from September 1997 to January 2009, including President of WM Funds and President of WM Financial Services.

Ms. Cavanaugh began their career in financial services at WM Group of Funds in September 1997, where they served as President, Distribution and Shareholder Svs. until November 2005. During their time there, they were responsible for strategic direction, P&L, marketing, compliance, sales and shareholder services. Under their leadership, the wholesaling force grew from 5 to 45 externals and assets increased from $5 billion to $24 billion in just 7 years. Sandra also implemented best in class marketing campaigns and changed the business mix from 90% proprietary/10% national to 75% national/25% proprietary.
