Mikhail Chesnokov

Mikhail Chesnokov is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and recommendation systems. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at HomeToGo since April 2023, Mikhail has successfully improved email click-through rates through strategic A/B testing and developed an offer categorization algorithm utilizing advanced search techniques. Prior to this role, Mikhail held various positions at Uma.Tech from April 2019 to March 2023, leading the Recommendation Systems group and contributing significantly to machine learning projects. Mikhail has also authored and mentored in data science courses at SkillFactory, and previously worked at companies such as MemeDate, Cian.ru, Sberbank, and the Russian Venture Company, building a solid foundation in data analysis, investment assessment, and educational program management. Mikhail holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the prestigious Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
