David MacLean

David MacLean is currently the CFO at Hometree. Prior to this, they served as the CFO at Elliptic from July 2020 to October 2022, Revolut from October 2019 to July 2020, and Metro Bank (UK) from November 2016 to November 2019. David has also held the positions of Head of Finance at Sompo Canopius from March 2014 to October 2016, Head of UK FP&A at Catlin from July 2012 to March 2014, Syndicate Financial Controller at Catlin from July 2011 to July 2012, and Group MI Programme at Catlin from March 2009 to July 2011. Additionally, David has experience as Deputy CFO at Palm Hills Developments from September 2008 to February 2009, Financial Services Consultant at PA Consulting Group from March 2006 to September 2008, Head of Strategy at Barclays Egypt from January 2003 to January 2006, and Manager of Strategy and Finance at Barclays from January 2001 to January 2003.

David Maclean studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Oxford. David then went on to complete a BA in the same subject at the same institution.
