Savannah Massengill

Savannah Massengill has a wealth of experience in the communications and public relations fields. Savannah began their career in 2014 as a Public Relations Intern at The Walker Marchant Group, where they conducted background research and monitored the media for stories related to clients. Savannah then moved on to BLAZE PR as an Assistant Account Executive, where they served as press liaison for 10+ clients and secured placements in the New York Times, Eater, Men's Fitness, and ESPN's Mike & Mike Show. In 2016, they joined MullenLowe U.S. as a Public Relations Account Executive, overseeing day-to-day operations of public relations-related projects. From 2017 to 2021, Massengill worked at Atrium Health, where they held various roles, including Communications Strategist, Senior Communications Specialist, and Communications Specialist. In their roles at Atrium Health, they oversaw communications and public relations strategy for specialty service lines, supported the enterprise Community & Social Impact communications strategy, and identified thought leadership and reputation-building media opportunities. Most recently, Massengill joined Big Health in 2021 as Public Relations Manager, where they contributed to a 118%+ increase in earned media coverage within the first 6 months. Savannah is currently employed as Communications Manager at Homeward, a position they have held since 2022.

Savannah Massengill holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism from High Point University and a High School Diploma from St. Anne's-Belfield School. In addition, they have obtained a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate Program from Atrium Health in August 2019 and Mental Health First Aid from Atrium Health in October 2018.
