Sheila Henchel

Sheila Henchel is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in HR management and operational leadership. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at Homewood Health since February 2021, Sheila has previously held similar roles at The Alex Community Health Centre from March 2014 to January 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing recruitment, benefits, compensation, and organizational training while supporting substantial organizational growth. Prior to that, Sheila worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Walter Energy Western Coal, focusing on employee relations and HR program administration, and began a career in sales management as a Regional Sales Manager at Beauty Systems Group. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Athabasca University and has completed business education at Olds College and a Human Resources Management Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
