Yelena Chorny

Yelena Chorny, MD, MBA, serves as a Collaborating Clinician at Homewood Research Institute, focusing on hormonal sensitivity and digital biomarkers in women with PTSD. Chorny holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University, where significant contributions include establishing the institution's first clinical fellowship program in Addiction Medicine. Previous leadership roles at Homewood Health Centre involved serving as Interim Chief of the Eating Disorders Program and Chief of Addiction and Trauma Services, where effective staff collaboration and mentorship were prioritized. With a strong foundation in Addiction Medicine, Chorny has also been instrumental in creating the Waterloo-Wellington Rapid Access Addiction Medicine clinics.
