Abdalrahman Maatouk

Abdalrahman Maatouk is an accomplished engineer with experience in various roles within the aerospace and mechanical engineering sectors. Currently serving as an Automatic Flight Control Systems / Advanced Research Engineer at Honda Aircraft Company since January 2021, Abdalrahman previously held the position of Flight Control Systems Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer at Onquest, where responsibilities involved designing direct fired heaters and related components for the refining and petrochemical industries, ensuring adherence to safety and constructability standards. Abdalrahman also contributed to the development of a mechanical prosthetic arm at UC Irvine's Biorobotics Research Lab, focusing on design, testing, and fabrication to meet specific patient needs. Abdalrahman holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine.
