Chris Werling

Chris Werling is a seasoned strategic sourcing and supply chain professional with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as Strategic Sourcing Manager at Honda Aircraft Company since December 2011, Chris oversees all supplier development activities related to Aerostructure procurement. Previous roles include Program Manager and Supplier Development Manager, where responsibilities encompassed coordination of flight control surface deliveries and proactive supplier engagement to mitigate potential constraints. Prior to Honda Aircraft, Chris spent over 15 years at Honda Aero, Inc., culminating in the position of Supply Chain Quality Manager, where oversight of aerospace product qualifications was paramount. Early career experiences include roles at Major Tool & Machine as a CNC Programmer and significant contributions to quality project leadership during automotive model launches at the Marysville Auto Plant. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
