Venkata Ramana Makkapati

Venkata Ramana Makkapati is an experienced engineer currently working at Honda Aircraft Company in the AFCS and Advanced Research department since July 2021. Prior to this role, Venkata served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Dynamics and Control Systems Laboratory at Georgia Tech from August 2016 to May 2021, contributing to projects focused on hypersonic vehicle control design, autonomous vehicle operations, and uncertain differential games. Additional experience includes a research internship at Foresight AI Inc., a graduate teaching assistant position at Georgia Tech, and summer internships at Mahindra & Mahindra and CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories. Venkata holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a Master's in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institutes of Technology.
