Honda Engineering (EGA) is specifically responsible for the research, development and design of manufacturing production technologies and methods, and the engineering, design and manufacture of equipment and tooling used in mass assembly production. Supporting manufacturing plants across North America, EGA works on a wide array of Honda products from cars and SUVs, to motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, engines and power products. Our engineering divisions work as teams in an open and inclusive atmosphere to build innovative, high-tech solutions to meet precise performance production needs. The divisions include Powertrain Equipment and Tooling, Body Equipment, and Die and Mold. The Administration Division encompasses all operations aspects of the company, and the New Model Center coordinates EGA’s activities for all of Honda’s product development activities in North America. In addition to our facilities in Ohio, EGA has branch offices in Lincoln, Alabama and Alliston, Ontario.
