Faizan Siddiqui

Faizan Siddiqui is a Research Engineer at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc., specializing in dynamic visual SLAM algorithms and deep learning-based vehicle and human pose detection for autonomous driving. Previously, Faizan served as an Undergraduate Research Student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, focusing on end-to-end deep learning solutions for self-driving cars. Additional experience includes leading projects in self-driving vehicle development at VISiON IITK and IGVC IITK, where recognition was achieved in international competitions. Faizan has a solid software engineering background with internships at Walmart Global Tech India and Botsync, contributing to microservice development and ROS-based robotics projects. Faizan holds a Master of Science in Robotics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Technology in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
