Akhil Damarla

Akhil Damarla is currently serving as an AI Data Scientist at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. since March 2024, where responsible for leading the architecture and development of innovative Generative AI projects, including the design of MultiModal Retrieval-Augmented Generation chatbots for unstructured data. Prior to this role, Akhil held the position of Director of Corporate Relations at the Big Data & Analytics Association from January 2022 to December 2023, facilitating collaborations and organizing events such as TEDTalks and Hackathons. Additional experience includes internships as a Data Science Intern and Data Analyst Intern at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. and 99P Labs, respectively, focusing on data modeling, quality assessment, and statistics. Akhil also worked as a Data Migration Specialist at ComResource and PNC, managing file transfer systems for business clients. Akhil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, completing studies in December 2023.
