Gary Nguyen

Gary Nguyen, CTP, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and investment management. Currently serving as Manager of Treasury & Pension Investments at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. since September 2021, Nguyen previously held the position of Head of Investments (Assistant Treasurer) at the County of Orange, managing an $8-10 billion investment pool. Prior roles include Treasury Officer at the City of Long Beach and Treasury Strategy & Planning Manager II at Hyundai Capital America, where Gary oversaw substantial investment portfolios and developed strategic funding plans. With a strong foundation in portfolio management and client advisory from earlier positions at Toyota North America, Metropolitan West Asset Management, PIMCO, and Cal Fed Investments, Nguyen holds a BA in Finance and Marketing from California State University, Fullerton.
