Jennifer Weihmann has a diverse work experience. Jennifer has worked at Honens since 2013, starting as an Associate Customer Service & Administration, then becoming Manager, Audience & Donor Engagement, and currently serving as the Director, Audience & Donor Engagement. Prior to that, they had their own photography business, Jennifer Weihmann Photography, where they worked as a Fine Art Photographer and Digital Printer. Jennifer also worked as the Manager of Community Relations & Communications at Steinway Pianos Gallery Calgary from 2011 to 2013, and as a Public Relations, Sales and Assistant Coordinator at Irene Besse Keyboards in 2010. Jennifer's earliest work experience was as a Wildfire Dispatcher at the Government of Alberta - Environmental Protection from 1999 to 2001.
Jennifer Weihmann completed their Visual Arts Diploma at Grande Prairie Regional College from 1994 to 1996. Jennifer then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, with a minor in Visual Studies and Art History, at the University of Calgary from 2005 to 2009.

Honens
The Honens International Piano Competition takes place every three years and is considered one of the world’s most prestigious events of its kind. Honens prepares its Laureates for the rigours and realities of professional careers in music and creates opportunities for growth and exposure. The annual Honens Festival is one of Canada’s premier classical music events, intended to share Mrs. Honens’ love of world renowned music with Albertans every year. Esther Honens created a legacy of musical excellence to be enjoyed for generations. In 1991, knowing she was near the end of her life, Mrs. Honens gave $5 million to endow an international piano competition in her hometown of Calgary, Canada. Her generosity, vision, and love of music continue to touch the lives of Calgarians, Canadians, musicians, and music-lovers around the world.
