Luis Souza

Luis Souza has a long and varied career in finance. Luis began their career at Deloitte Brasil in 2005 as a Financial Consultant and External Auditor. In 2009, they joined PDG Incorporadora e Construtora as a Financial Manager, where they were responsible for managing $1B in Group Debt and negotiating and executing the rollover of structured debts. In 2015, they moved to C&S Law Firm as the Head of Finance, managing Treasury Operations, analyzing monthly financial results and presenting to owners of the Law firm. In 2017, they joined BizCapital as the Head of Finance, managing Treasury Operations, documenting financial data for third party accounting firm and analyzing monthly financial results. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded HonestDeed and serves as the CFO, managing all the financial matters of the early-stage company, being a member of the leadership team and joint ownership of the company's operations and go-to-market strategy.

Luis Souza obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Ibmec between 2001 and 2005. Luis then went on to pursue a Post-graduate in Finance from Ibmec between 2012 and 2014. In 2018, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Additionally, they have Passed CFA Level 1.
