Tyler Helmuth

Tyler Helmuth began their work experience as an Intern at Marathon Petroleum Company in 2014, where they focused on software development for the Supply, Distribution, and Planning I.T. support team. Tyler then interned at Progressive Insurance in 2015 before joining Miami University - Outdoor Pursuit Center as a Lead Route Setter in 2013. In 2016, Helmuth joined Progressive Insurance as an IT Apps Programmer Associate and has since held various roles within the company, including IT Apps Programmer, IT Apps Programmer Sr., and IT DevOps Engineer Lead. In 2022, Helmuth joined New Relic, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer - Open Source before transitioning to the same role at Honeycomb.io later in the year.

Tyler Helmuth attended Miami University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) certification in October 2015 from the institution ICAgile.
