David Krakov

David Krakov has a strong background in software engineering and technology leadership. David is currently the Co-founder and CEO of Honeydew (YC W23), a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, David co-founded and served in various roles at Varada, a technology company. David was the Co-founder and Advisory Board member from October 2021 to June 2022, followed by the roles of Co-founder and CTO from July 2018 to September 2021, and Co-founder and CEO from September 2016 to August 2018.

Before their time at Varada, David worked at EMC, where they held the position of Sr Architect from March 2014 to August 2016. David played a crucial role in the Advanced Development team of XtremIO, leading innovative product and development initiatives. David'swork included core data flow redesign, development of a new All-Flash product, and designing XtremIO's architecture for VMware's new virtualization storage interface. Prior to that, David served as Group Manager at EMC from May 2012 to April 2014.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Software Developer at XtremIO, focusing on Linux kernel and high availability. David was responsible for designing and developing a data protection feature that ensured the cluster journal's secure storage on disk in the event of a power failure. Before joining XtremIO, David served as a Software Group Leader at IDF from October 2009 to December 2011, and as a Software Engineer at IDF from October 2005 to October 2009.

David Krakov obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2002 to 2005. David went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university, which they completed from 2010 to 2013.
