Alaa Atassi

Alaa Atassi is an accomplished professional in the field of smart cities and engineering, currently serving as the Smart Cities Sr. Offering Lead for EMEA at Honeywell since December 2024. Prior experience includes roles as the Smart Cities Manager at DG Jones and Partners and Project and Engineering Lead at SmartONE Solutions Inc. Alaa's career began with positions at Alsaad General Contracting LTD. and ICAD-Innovative Contractors for Advanced Dimensions, focusing on coordination management and ICT projects. Alaa also has academic experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the American University of Beirut, where a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering was earned. Additionally, a Project Management certification was obtained from The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University.
