Desiree Melo

Desiree Melo currently serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Honeywell, leading digital technology initiatives focused on commercial and customer experience in e-commerce since December 2023. In addition, Melo is a member of the Board of Directors for Delta Dental of Arkansas, providing strategic guidance on digital transformation and cloud migration since September 2022. Previous roles include membership at Chief, an organization dedicated to empowering women leaders, and Head of Digital & Technology Strategy and Governance at Gap Inc. where significant experience in cloud computing and software development was gained. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Director II for Strategy, Innovation & EPMO at Sam's Club, where oversight of strategic initiatives and communications was key. Melo’s educational background features a Chief Technology Officer program from MIT Professional Education and a certificate in Innovation Strategy from Cornell University.
