Jim Carroll

SVP, Global Government Relations at Honeywell

Jim Carroll is the current SVP of Global Government Relations at Honeywell. Prior to this, they were the Global Director of Information Technology at Evidera from November 2013 to June 2016. In this role, they were responsible for rapidly and efficiently transforming all IT operations, functions, systems, processes and staff for the newly independent, globally focused organization. This included managing the relocation of eight corporate offices and moving five data centers in three countries. Jim was able to reduce costs and improve service and compliance by guiding internal staff and external vendors to focus on enhancing support, operating procedures, access, and cost effectiveness of services.

Some of their significant accomplishments include: analyzing key problems during their first 90 days then developing and implementing a remediation plan; streamlining the network architecture, improving system performance and business continuity; expanding telephone system access and functionality across international corporate offices; renegotiating vendor agreements, improving relationships and resolving performance problems; rewriting global IT Standard Operating Procedures to match regulatory requirements; and extending usable life of user computers to reduce equipment purchases by 66% in one year.

Jim Carroll attended Sacred Heart School in Newton, MA before going to Newton South High School. Jim then attended American University, where they received a BS in Political Science.

Jim Carroll reports to Anne T. Madden, SVP, General Counsel. They are on a team with Gregory Ogunsanya - VP, General Counsel - Industrial Safety, Victor Miller - VP, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer, and Chuck Graf - Chief Global Investigations & Litigation Counsel.
