Matthew Contons

Matthew Contons possesses extensive experience in electrical engineering management and design, currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager at Honeywell since June 2025. Prior to this role, Matthew contributed to Polaris Inc. as a Feature and Electrical Systems Architect for the Off Road Vehicle design team from July 2022 to June 2025. Matthew's career at Northrop Grumman spanned over a decade, during which time significant roles included Staff Capture Management, Technical Director, and Sr Electrical Engineering Manager, with a focus on leading the sensors and fuzing electrical engineering group. Earlier experience at Honeywell involved leadership in developing embedded sensor products while also serving as a Development Engineer, contributing to the design and productization of various pressure and magnetic sensors. Matthew began the journey in engineering as a Teachers Assistant and Tutor at St. Cloud State University, helping students with programming and analog design courses. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from St. Cloud State University.
