Maximiliano Lopez

Maximiliano Lopez is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in advanced mechanical design and finite element analysis (FEA). Currently serving as a Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at Honeywell since July 2025, Lopez has previously held multiple roles at Nikola Corporation, where leadership and collaboration across engineering teams were key responsibilities. With a background that spans over a decade at ESA as a contractor, Lopez possesses strong capabilities in structural analysis and CAD design. Prior positions include impactful roles at Honeywell focusing on supplier engagement and quality improvement, as well as diverse engineering positions at The Cookson Company, Inc., and PING, where FEA optimization and prototype testing were emphasized. Lopez holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Arizona State University.
