Sandy Smith

Sandy Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in aerospace and military operations. As the Chief of Operations for Honeywell Aerospace since September 2012, Sandy leads strategic initiatives in aerospace technology. Prior experiences include serving as the BMEWS/PAVE PAWS Support Manager at ITT Industries, where Sandy was responsible for key product line planning and secured over $31 million in funding. Notably, Sandy has held various leadership roles within the USAF, including Chief of Maintenance Management Branch and Commander of Supply and Transportation Squadrons, and has received the "White House Closing the Circle Award." Educational qualifications include a Master’s of Science in Systems Management from both Air Command and Staff College and the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor's of Science in Commercial Economics from South Dakota State University.
