Ruth Asiedua Somuah

Ruth Asiedua Somuah is currently employed as a Learner Support Secondary Co-Teacher at Hong Kong Academy, contributing to the co-planning, co-teaching, and co-assessing of student programmes while collaborating with various educational professionals to support individual student needs. Prior experience includes serving as a Native-speaking English Tutor at Chatteris Educational Foundation, where comprehensive lesson plans were developed to enhance learning efficiency. Ruth also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cape Coast, providing guidance and feedback to students on assignments, and completed a project internship with Recycle Up! Ghana, supporting project coordination and offering technical guidance to students. Earlier professional experience includes an internship at La Salem Presby Basic School, where instructional programs were designed to engage students actively. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Education in Teaching French as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of Cape Coast and a certificate in French from CENTRE INTERNATIONAL DE RECHERCHE ET D’ETUDE DE LANGUES, VILLAGE DU BENIN.
