John Lee

John Lee has extensive experience in the IT industry, starting their career as a Technical Consultant at HKT in 1994. John then went on to work as a Systems Engineer at Nortel from 2000 to 2002. John joined BEENET in 2002, where they held positions as a Senior Consultant and Assistant Director in software development and IP network and system architecture. In 2005, they worked as a Project Manager at Atos Origin before joining Hactl in 2006. At Hactl, John has held various management positions, including Head of IT Architecture, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity, Senior Manager of IT Operations, Manager of IT Architecture & Information Security Services, and Manager of the IT Security Office. John has been involved in significant projects, such as leading the COSAC-Plus software development project, which required a team effort from multiple departments and technology partners.

John Lee obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Hong Kong in 1993. John then went on to earn a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Cornell University in 1994.

In addition to their formal education, John also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the following:

- In 1999, they obtained the Checkpoint CCSE certification from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd.

- In 2001, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)².

- In 2002, they earned the Professional Diploma in Computer Forensics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the BS7799 Lead Auditor certification from BSI.

- In 2002, they also obtained the CISA certification from ISACA.

- In 2006, they obtained both the Oracle 9i OCP certification from Oracle and the PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification from APM Group.

- In 2009, they obtained the CISM certification from ISACA.
